Ride to Conquer Cancer

Carbert Waite was proud to sponsor a team in the The Enbridge® Ride to Conquer Cancer® benefiting the Alberta Cancer Foundation this year. Team “Hanging on to Hope” surpassed their fundraising goal, and raised an incredible $15,779. Each member of the team rides for their own personal reasons, including a dear friend, Heing Taing, who was the inspiration to form the team 4 years ago. 

The two day ride, from August 17 to 18th, raises funds to ensure that cancer patients in Alberta have access to clinical trials, enhanced patient care, and ultimately, better outcomes. Since 2009, The Enbridge® Ride to Conquer Cancer® has raised over $80.9 million dollars. Alberta Cancer Foundation’s “vision is to achieve a cancer-free future by investing in cancer prevention and screening, enhanced care and research.”
