November 2, 2022
We are pleased to announce that Carbert Waite is an official drop-off location for this year’s Coats for Calgary Jacket Drive.
This year’s Coats for Calgary Jacket Drive is done in support of the Calgary Drop-In Centre. All donated jackets will go to the Calgary Drop-In Centre where they will be cleaned, repaired, recycled, and sorted out so no coats will go to waste. The program is run through their clothing store where clients have the flexibility to shop for clothes that appeal to them.
Nearly 3,000 Calgarians experience some form of homelessness. Providing warm clothing for those in need is one of many ways we can collaborate and help those in our community that need it the most.
Let’s make this initiative a successful one! Together, we can bring warm clothing to those in need and ensure they receive the care they deserve. Individuals and organizations can get involved by donating coats, being official drop-off locations, and making monetary donations.
We encourage you to share the details about this noble cause with your friends and family.
