Carbert Waite LLP is very proud to announce that Michael Waite has been appointed Queen’s Counsel by Alberta’s Minister of Justice and Solicitor General, Doug Schweitzer. Appointments of Queen’s Counsel are awarded to lawyers who have made significant contributions to the legal profession and have demonstrated exceptional leadership.
This honour acknowledges Michael’s professional integrity, commitment to justice, and contribution to both his community and the legal profession. Michael is a respected member of the Calgary legal community and is recognized nationally for his Health Law practice. In addition to Health Law, Michael is well known for his excellence in Employment Law, Estate Litigation, and General Commercial and Civil Litigation. Michael is also an active supporter of several non-profit organizations, and is a proud member of the board of Hospice Calgary and Legal Aid Alberta.
