Biography
Will joined Carbert Waite in 2026 after practicing in house and at regional and global law firms in Calgary for nearly a decade. He maintains a general litigation practice with a strong focus on employment and administrative law. He also regularly advises clients on a range of litigation and dispute resolution issues including contractual and shareholder disputes and construction matters.
Will obtained his JD in 2018 from the University of Victoria, where he was the recipient of the F. Murray Fraser Award. Before attending law school, Will obtained his professional engineering designation from the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, having worked as a consulting engineer for clients throughout western Canada.
Will has appeared before all levels of Court in Alberta and is committed to helping his clients achieve practical and efficient resolution of their legal matters. Will has also appeared before the Alberta Human Rights Commission Tribunal and the Alberta Energy Regulator.
Outside of work, Will enjoys spending time with his family, including at the family farm and in the mountains. He volunteers with the Calgary Stampede and hasn’t missed a parade since 1994.
