Biography

Megan joined Carbert Waite LLP to finalize her articles in June 2026 after completing her law studies at the University of Calgary and a 10-month clerkship with the Alberta Court of Appeal.

While in law school, Megan volunteered as a project leader and member of the student executive committee for Pro Bono Students Canada, served as president of the Health Law Association, and was active in the faculty’s competitive mooting program. In her third year, Megan was selected as a teaching assistant for the first year Foundations in Law course.

Before studying law Megan earned bachelor’s degrees in arts and nursing, both from the University of Alberta. She then worked for more than a decade as a registered nurse in the emergency department of a Calgary hospital.

In her spare time Megan loves playing both tabletop and video games, reading, knitting and embroidery.
