Biography

Lauren joined Carbert Waite in 2021 after practicing at a regional law firm in Calgary. She maintains a general litigation practice and advises clients on a range of issues including contractual disputes, construction matters, employment law, estate administration and estate litigation/dispute resolution.  

Lauren obtained her J.D. in 2018, and attended law school at the University of Calgary, where she was the recipient of the Bishop & McKenzie Centennial Prize for a high standard of performance in civil procedure. While in law school, Lauren was part of the Pro Bono Students’ Canada Emergency Protection Order Project and the Louise Dean School Project. 

Lauren is committed to assisting clients in achieving practical and efficient resolutions to their legal matters and has represented clients at Alberta’s Court of Appeal, Court of King’s Bench and Court of Justice. Lauren has also appeared before development authorities and appeal tribunals to assist clients with potential property developments and subdivisions.
