Biography

Jasdeep is a Student-At-Law at Carbert Waite LLP.

Jasdeep earned his Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University. During law school, he gained practical legal experience as a summer law student with Bayer CropScience, where he worked on a broad range of legal and regulatory matters in the agriculture sector. His work included conducting legal research and developing resources to assist various departments with legal and regulatory compliance.

While at Thompson Rivers University, Jasdeep volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada, where he participated in the law school’s inaugural wills clinic, assisting individuals with the preparation of wills.

Prior to law school, Jasdeep earned a Bachelor of Social Science in Criminal Justice from Humber College in Toronto. He later worked as a Transit Dispatcher with the City of Calgary in an emergency communications environment.

Outside of law, Jasdeep has a longstanding interest in stand-up comedy. He completed a comedy program at The Second City in Toronto and has performed at comedy clubs and open mic nights. In his spare time, he enjoys travelling, basketball, snowboarding, and golfing.
