Biography
Jahaan is an associate at Carbert Waite with a broad litigation practice. Jahaan is especially drawn to labor and employment, workplace investigations, human rights matters and commercial and civil litigation. She has a resolution-oriented practice where she strives to achieve the best outcome for her clients in the most cost-effective and low-conflict manner.
Prior to joining Carbert Waite, Jahaan practiced general commercial litigation at a mid-sized Western Canadian firm. Jahaan practiced in a wide range of areas including shareholders disputes, personal injury defence, builders liens, trademark issues, and general contractual breaches. Jahaan has appeared before the Alberta Court of Justice and the Alberta Court of King’s Bench.
Outside of work, Jahaan is a 200-hour registered yoga instructor and teaches regular classes in the Calgary community, she rides horses in Okotoks, volunteers at the Calgary Women’s Centre, and spends time relaxing with her friends, family and animals.
