Biography

Davud Camgoz is an associate at Carbert Waite LLP, where his practice focuses on wills and estate litigation. He obtained his law degree from Bahçeşehir University in Istanbul in 2018 and relocated to Canada the following year.

After arriving in Calgary, Davud earned a Business Administration diploma from SAIT and later completed the Foreign-Trained Lawyers Program at the University of Calgary. He successfully met the requirements of the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) and went on to article at MerGen Law. During his articles, Davud was the primary contact for the firm’s Estate Litigation Department where he managed client intake, court filings, Chambers applications, appeals and negotiated settlements. Davud was called to the Alberta Bar in July 2025 and has been practicing with Carbert Waite LLP since.

Fluent in English and Turkish, Davud brings empathy, discipline and cultural insight to his work. He is committed to helping clients navigate emotionally complex disputes involving family and legacy with a focus on delivering clarity and practical solutions.

Outside of the office, Davud enjoys skiing in the Rockies, attending music festivals and exploring Alberta’s culinary scene.
